1. No Data Collection

OnlineBlankPage.com does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, writing content, or browsing behavior to any server. The entire application runs client-side in your browser. We have no databases, no user accounts, and no analytics trackers.

2. Local Storage Only

Your text is saved exclusively in your browser's localStorage using the Web Storage API. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you use a shared or public computer, we recommend clearing your browsing data when you finish.

3. No Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, marketing cookies, or any third-party cookies. The only local storage mechanism used is the browser's localStorage for saving your document content and preferences (such as your chosen theme and font settings).

4. Third-Party Services

Translation API. If you use the built-in translation feature, your selected text is sent to a third-party translation service (LibreTranslate or similar) to perform the translation. No text is stored or logged by us. This feature is entirely optional and opt-in.

Google Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN. Google may collect standard HTTP request information (IP address, browser type, etc.) when fetching fonts. This is standard for any website that uses web fonts.

No other third-party services are used. We do not use analytics, advertising, social media pixels, or any other external scripts.

5. No User Accounts

We do not offer user accounts, logins, or registrations. There is nothing to sign up for. This means we have no way to identify you, contact you, or associate any data with you personally.

6. Data Security

Because all data stays in your browser, the security of your writing depends on your device's security. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date. If you use the optional password lock feature, your document is encrypted using AES-GCM via the Web Crypto API before being stored in localStorage.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no data, there is no risk of children's personal information being gathered or processed.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
