1. Your Writing Is Not Collected

OnlineBlankPage.com does not collect, store, or transmit your writing content to any server. The editor runs client-side in your browser. We have no databases and no user accounts. Separately, this site does use Google Analytics and Google AdSense — see section 4 below for what that means.

2. Local Storage Only (For Your Writing)

Your text is saved exclusively in your browser's localStorage using the Web Storage API. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you use a shared or public computer, we recommend clearing your browsing data when you finish.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Your document content and preferences (such as your chosen theme and font settings) are saved using localStorage, not cookies. However, the third-party services described below — Google Analytics and Google AdSense — do use cookies and similar technologies (such as device identifiers) for analytics and ad measurement/personalization, as described in Google's own privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (e.g., page views and general usage trends). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense. This site uses, or intends to use, Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. Translation API. If you use the built-in translation feature, the text you choose to translate is sent to the MyMemory Translation API (a third-party translation service) to perform the translation. No text is stored or logged by us. This feature is entirely optional and opt-in.

Google Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN. Google may collect standard HTTP request information (IP address, browser type, etc.) when fetching fonts. This is standard for any website that uses web fonts.

5. No User Accounts

We do not offer user accounts, logins, or registrations. There is nothing to sign up for. This means we have no way to identify you, contact you, or associate any data with you personally.

6. Data Security

Because all data stays in your browser, the security of your writing depends on your device's security. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date. If you use the optional password lock feature, your document is encrypted using AES-GCM via the Web Crypto API before being stored in localStorage.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the writing tool itself collects no data at all. As noted above, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may collect standard, non-identifying browsing data from all visitors, consistent with Google's own policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
